Lutheran Memorial Camp was the place to be November 6-8, 2009, as our 4th-6th graders joined with members of other Lutheran churches to participate in Creation Celebration.  With the cross of Christ always in sight, each day began and ended with outdoor worship.  In between, we broke into groups and participated in Bible study, crafts, and hiking. As a community, we experienced a wagon ride, campfires, and the ever popular night hike (no flashlights allowed).  We also had the opportunity to make two new friends as Pastor June and her daughter, Heather, from Faith Lutheran, Wilmington, were assigned to our cabin.  Nothing equals the enthusiasm of kids coupled with an absolutely fantastic camp staff.  It was a fabulous weekend.  We wish to thank the members of Bethel for financially supporting this adventure.  This is what ministry is all about!!!!
