"Cruisin' the Amazon in Search of God's  Love" was the theme for our 7th annual Vacation Bible School Campout.  Camp was set up early Friday morning, and after a hearty lunch of Amazon Steakburgers, it  was off on our journey.  Incorporated into our study, craft and game time, we learned about God as our Shelter (Noah), God as our Guide (the Israelite's journey), and Jesus as our Savior (Peter in the storm).  Friday afternoon also afforded us a chance to actually hike the Amazon River as we  ventured on a walk in Little Sugarcreek.  Before our campfire time, we also managed to work in some physical fitness with personal trainer Clint Anderson.  Everyone had a great time and is looking forward to next year.  Plan to join us July 16-17, 2010, as we become "God's All-Star Champions" and hone our skills in Softball, Soccer and Field Hockey.
